OBJECTIVES
Industry Group Members have direct influence on:
• Creating educational content for students, and identifying the skills needed for in-demand current and future jobs.
• The design of outreach campaigns, aiding students, and parents in making informed decisions about their professional career paths and choosing in-demand jobs within specific industries.
• The breadth of information disseminated to students and parents about the needs of the industry and the in-demand jobs available.
• The terms and regulations governing Professional Career Onboarding.
The AEEC is providing guidance and support to Industry Group members to ensure that their needs are met in all AEEC initiatives, with the overarching aim of creating targeted, industry-specific education that will drive workforce development. Members of Industry Groups will have access to all materials, documents, and information pertinent to their specific industry. They will be key players in shaping all initiatives targeting their industry's needs in the context of enhancing technical career education.
EXPECTATIONS
Members of Industry Groups are expected to:
• Engage closely with the Group Leader and fellow members.
• Attend group meetings, which are anticipated to occur bi-monthly.
• Provide essential information to facilitate strategic decision-making for the given industry.
• Actively articulate their own needs.
• Contribute opinions that will assist in formulating the most effective decisions.
